RITUAL HIVE II - THE ALCHEMY of TIME
A multimedia installation at the new media international festival Currents 2015. This installation is an 8'x8'x8' cube that one can enter to experience the sound, video and ritual space of the HIVE. Seven video loops, ceramic vessels and forms, glass sculpture, photographic images on linen, gilded lava rocks, gilded hexagon mirrors, seeds, and bees wax . The sound is a loop of spatially affected bees in a meditative hum. The smell of wax / honey permeates the cube.
